Object: 19th Century Dollhouse

Artist/Attribution: n/a

Medium: Wood, glass, paper, metal, paint 

Treatment details: Overall dry cleaning, stabilized wood and paper elements, adhered broken wood fragments, filled losses and recreated wallpaper losses. 

Object: Egyptian bronze baboon

Medium: Copper alloy

Year: Late Period 716-30 BC

Treatment: Corrosion removal, base removal. Wax coating to the overall surface.

Object: Lovers Embrace, plaster sculpture

Medium: Painted plaster with wooden vase

Treatment: Fragment reintegration, filling losses, inpainting losses. 

Object: Flying monkey from the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz

Artist: Marcel Delgado 

Medium: latex rubber foam, paint, metal wire  

Treatment: Stabilization of severely brittle material by consolidating impacted areas and adhering detached fragments. All losses were filled and inpainted.  

Object: Sculpture of Pan 

Artist: Marco Zim

Medium: Copper alloy  

Year: ca.1920s 

Treatment: Superficial wet cleaning to remove organic debris and other particulates. Removed corrosion deposits, followed by a wax coating. 


Object: Archeologi, ed. 6 of 7 

Artist: Giorgio de Chirico 

Medium: Bronze with dark brown patina 

Year: Conceived in 1968, cast circa 1988 

Treatment: Superficial cleaning, corrosion removal, inpainted discolored areas, wax application to the overall surface.
